From living estate of artisan world traveler a vintage or antique Tibetan Prayer Box Gau - beautifully decorated silver front with what appears to be brass scroll medallion centered with large round green turquoise. Turquoise is mounted high with brass surround. Same scroll work in silver decorates 4 sides of box. Back of box appears to be brass and fastens with thin leather thong which ties into the silver bail. Leather Chain is woven and attaches by silver rings to 4 strands of flexible fine chain connecting to silver hook closure.
