Description
: Black wool theatrical cloak, likely 100% wool or wool blend from feel and texture. The size is voluminous, weighing in at 3 pounds 11 ounces. This item is hand made and likely spend time on stage and in costume storage. It did not come out of package or from China.
See the pictures for the delicate nature of the item. This is a good item for those with sewing skills or access to a tailor :). My lighting washes out the black, but it is black, not faded to gray.

Provenance:
From the estate of "MN", who
started as a roadie and worked as union stagehand, sound & lighting
director and, finally, stage director. He had a Mfa in theater arts. MN worked widely, but was based on Sarasota, FL. He was highly involved in Sarasota Ballet and Asolo Theater productions.
Preparations:
MN was a smoker but the cloak does not appear to be affected. We have not attempted to clean due to the nature of the costume.
