An antique silver plated biscuit box container jar. Egyptian Revival with sphinx lid finial, hinged wreath handles, repeating floral leaf raised bands and insets.
Possibly, by T&J Creswick or Hutton?... the maker mark shows six intersecting arrows inside a diamond shape - the Creswick marks, I have seen are with eight arrows, otherwise it looks very similar.
Size 7" tall x 6" diameter... weight 2 lbs.
Good condition - no serious dents or damage - nice working hinges. Some areas of lightened plate with brass color showing on exterior... one plate spot near hinge inside.
