A vintage monumental Murano art glass vase in the 'Scavo' technic. Pink, purple and white colors with spiral rope/cord attachment. An omage to ancient unearthed glass vessels.
This item is etched on the bottom MADE IN ITALY. There are no other maker marks, perhaps a label at one time. One online auction house had attributed this same vessel to Seguso. I do not know, if they were correct.
This is from one of our downsizing clients. Our client is in her 70's of age, this vase belonged to her mother.
Size 15" tall... 9" widest diameter... heavy weight 10.5 lbs.
Very Good condition... no chips, cracks or damage noted.
