Vintage 1950s quilt collectible unusual item found packed in estate - Unfinished quilt pieces squares with newspaper and cotton blanket pieces on the reverse. News articles include "Faurot and Corum Join Missouri's Sports Hall of Fame" - in attempt to date the pieces I found research this was 1953. Other news is stock market, FSU 5 players quit. Not being a quilter, this is my best description! I just found fascination in the process.
2 quilt pieces 41" X 11-1/2" & 42" X 11-1/2" Various cotton fabrics in solid and prints
Some squares have newspaper back some have cotton blanket squares
Condition shows some packing discolor but all in all intact
