We have received an estate collection of WW 11 Sweetheart Jewelry made with military or local metals where the artisan was stationed and known as "Trench Art." This collection is all made with Operculum shells Cat's Eye.
Clamp Bracelet of silver metal - round Operculum is large almost 1". Inside measurement of bracelet 4 1/4" + 1 1/4" opening. No markings but usually these military metals were not engraved. Shell is attached to disk with sawtooth surround.
Nice original condition from estate. Will mail in box in which it was received, a tortoise shell print lined box, a little shabby but appropriate to era. This is unusually well crafted.
