Unbelievable profusion of violets decorates this large Bell Pull - early piece from Maud Hundley Anchorage KY with original ribbon label - needlepoint worked over pale green background - matching twisted wool yarn edging and lush satin lining. Maud Hundley started with her daughter in home workroom in 1947 in Anchorage KY. Ms. Hundley passed in 1985 and their studio closed - we believe this to be a 1950s '60s piece. She was a national sensation because of her quality needlepoint and designs.
