A vintage slicing carving knife with full tang blade and laminate ebony wood handle. This item is marked Stainless Solingen Germany and the Hoffritz name - no doubt produced by J.A. Henckels for the Hoffritz for Cutlery stores in America.
Size 10.25" blade... 15" overall length... weight 6 oz.
Good used condition - very workable knife. The blade is straight with no nicks - it has a fine cleaning scour scratch, which has faded the name - some sharpening edge mark on back of blade. The oiled handle is good with one slight edge peel - see last photo.
