A lovely vintage antique historical museum worthy blanket from McCrossen Weavers Santa Fe New Mexico. McCrossen Weavers began in early 1930s in Santa Fe when Preston & Helen McCrossen moved to Santa Fe to assist in revival of the native arts of the area. We have sold many handwoven McCrossen ties but this is the first blanket we have received and history is evident in the feel and look of this one of kind artisan handwoven blanket

  • Ribbon label  "Handwoven McCrossen Santa Fe, N.M." with Loom logo and hand stitched with red thread "X". I do not know if there is significance to this as weaver's mark or similar

  • Shades of Brown with knotted Fringe
  • Side stitched hems by hand.
  • Approximately 57 1/2" X 62"  Fringe 2"  Weight 2 lbs. 6 oz pre packing
  • Condition Very Good vintage antique - Note several very small breaks in fiber, which may be moth, 1 very old hand stitched repair - also couple missing fringes - some fold marks from long time packing
  • See closeup photos please. Unusually good condition for age.
