An antique cast iron, wall mount mailbox by Hart Iron City Ironworks Detroit. Circa 1877-1900. Ornate scrolls and satyr gargoyle head.
Size 5" x 13" x 3" deep... weight 4.5 lbs.
As found estate item - unrestored, with rust to black paint finish. Cast iron is intact - the sheet steel backplate has some "torn from wall" damage. No key.
