Guardian Service Ware Aluminum Oval Sizzling Server Platter

A vintage oval "sizzling server" platter by Guardian Service Ware USA. This platter can be used as a roasting pan, as the previous owner did.

FYI... on selling sites such as Ebay, this platter is sometimes suggested incorrectly, as a lid for the oval roaster pot. Though that might work to some degree, Guardian catalogs never show the platter as a lid, the lids were glass. 

Size aprx. 10.25" x 13" at rim... 15" across handles... weight 2.3 lbs.

Good used condition. This item has been given a hearty scrub clean.
