A vintage small round au gratin dish or covered individual casserole. The shark fin glass lid J-313 is by Glasbake USA. The hammered aluminum texture dish/pan is unmarked as to the maker - Club, Household Institute or such.
Interesting and scarce item. A 1930's art deco rocket ship or 1950's atomic design.
size 4-7/8" diameter at rim x 1-5/8" deep... holds 10 fluid oz.
Great condition. I doubt it was used much. No chips or issues with the glass. The age spots to the aluminum interior are cosmetic - smooth to touch.
