Gerber Siefried Balmung Carver Set Boxed Mid Century Modern

A vintage mid century carving set by Gerber USA in original box (missing plastic lid)... 9" stainless steel blade knife... 14" overall... 10.5" fork.

I doubt this estate estate was used... the knife looks new, unfortunately the fork has corrosion to the finish at the junction - something common the the Gerber products of this era - I often see this with the steak knives, as well.
