Chief Z K Oloruntoba 1934 - 2014 was a Nigerian Yoruba Chieftain born in Ogidi and representative of the 1960s art school of Osogo from 1962. He moved to Ibadan after 1960s where he met the musician Ornette Coleman in the 1970s and moved to NYC where he worked with Coleman designing record labels and exhibiting his art. He was a Shaman and his art was linked to healing practice and visuals of his clairvoyant dreams.
We have received 4 original 1970s works signed and titled from Ibadan days bought in Nigeria by a ship's captain who traveled world over and collected art where he visited. They are unframed and will mail rolled in a tube. USA shipping included in listing price.
