this is a collection from estates of 1928 Bourjois Evening in Paris vintage items. when I was a small child a neighbor's granddaughter had Evening in Paris all over her vanity and night stands, big boxes full with lots of tassels - seems by grandmother's whispers to my mother, a wealthy married man was the source. It's always evoked romanticism to me albeit naughty in the early 1940s!
