2 Primitive vintage style fabric dolls from estate - 1 truly old - the taller doll from fabric appears maybe 1950s. Both have embroidered facial features. They are both stained flawed but work with a primitive vintage ambience. They are as arrived from estate. TLC clean or leave as is.
Older truly primitive appearing plantation style doll is 9 1/2". Fabrics for her costume I would believe 1940s or earlier. It is heavy weave including the "petticoat" underneath. apron with front cross straps is probably flour sack fabric. She is simply crafted with no shoes and solid hands, it is made by machine not hand sewing. Her face is fine but has large stain bottom of dress.
Tall doll appears perhaps 1950s. 18" tall approx. Calico like fabric dress and now faded heavy yarn hair. She has high button shoes sewn into design and buttons appear man made not pearl.
