What a gorgeous antique piece from estate with everything kept from Civil War forward to 1980s - 14K gold with weight of 9.4 grams - tie bar or possibly money clip with beautiful etched intricate design. There is a monogram, which would be expected for such a dear memory item. Acid tests 14K gold - no purity mark.
