An antique mortise door lockset by Yale & Towne. Large ornate design bronze exterior set and simple brass interior set. I am guessing this is a marriage? - from the state of an antiques dealer. No strike plate or mounting screws.
Front plate size 3-1/2" x 17-1/2"... back plate 3" x 11".... mortise face 1-1/8" x 8-1/4"... weight 6 lbs.
Unrestored condition with original patina. Working condition. The previous owner did not know to release the cylinder bolt - some tool scratch to key cylinder edge plate - the interior threads have been rounded, but are still working.
