A vintage studio pottery vase by Aleen Gottlob, Penland NC. Squared base to round flare rim with applied medallions. Natural tan with white glaze. Signed by the artist on the bottom.
Good clean condition. This vase has what looks like an original T shape contraction crack at the bottom. I suspect this happened during the bisque drying phase and was filled by the artist before firing. It does not transfer to the interior white glaze. Otherwise, no damage noted.
