When building a collection of early Ekco or Flint kitchen utensils (early square butt handle), you will find the large forks come in 3 basic types... small & large two tine... and a lesser seen three tine. The two tine versions work well for meat carving... the smaller version is nice for picking items from the skillet. The three tine version works well for grilling and can be uses as a bacon press.
