Wood Kitchen Spoon New 15 Lot - Cut to Short 8"- Crafting

A lot of 15 new wood kitchen spoons. For some reason the handles were cut down to make them short and awkward - overall length 8".

I have no idea why these items were cut short, perhaps for some craft project?... or to attach a custom handle?
