A vintage quality copper cocotte pot with stainless steel clad interior - plated cast iron handles - flared rim. This item stamped MADE IN FRANCE and no maker name - this style of mark suggests a Mauviel product or perhaps, Atelier du Cuivre.
Size 6 quart... 10" diameter at rim x 5.25" deep... 13" across handles... combined weight 8 lbs. Due to the flared rim, the the wall thickness is not measurable.
This is one of three estate cookware pieces we acquired. All are in good used condition, fairly light use - no dents, warp or serious form damage - the rivets/handles are tight. Some normal fine cleaning scratch and use marks, some minor micro-spotting to stainless.
FYI... vintagefrenchcopper.com has a very informative page on identifying "MADE IN FRANCE" unbranded markings... kudos to VCF.
