This is a very nice vintage Nantucket Friendship Basket Purse from estate of lovely woman 100 years of age who also had some antique Nantuckets by Jose Reyes in her collection. this basket of course later but nicely crafted and in great vintage condition. Wood disk on top has scrimshaw classic whale - whale, ears and peg closure appear bone or faux ivory.
From estate - no provenance maker or year - probably had paper hang tag or label on inside top from maker - note what appears tiny remains of tag on inside lid wood
