Stunning Asian Pair of figurines in shining white with heavy gilt - Tall at 14 1/2" each, I believe they were lamp bases. Decorative as is or redo as lamps. They are unusually handsome and long to be appreciated. I found no marks except etched on male #889. I did not remove the replaced felt on female to check. Would expect they are Japan, probably one of the better makers for US market import mid century.

Will be well wrapped - tissue - several layers of bubble mailed in a double box so will be heavy weight - but worth it!
